MAKE Creative Space Grand Opening – September 1

MAKE Creative Space is a DIY ART Studio that offers hands-on self-paced for creating custom home decor from raw materials. This new addition to Beaumont is hosting a GRAND opening on September 1st from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at 2405 Calder Ave. in Beaumont.

First Thursday – September 2

First Thursdays takes places in downtown Beaumont on the first Thursday of every month. With live music, shopping and dining discounts, First Thursdays is a great way to support local businesses while enjoying a night out on the town. A few key locations include Tacos La Bamba, the Art Studio, Katherine and Co and the Art Museum of SETX.

Lamar Football – September 2 & 25

Lamar football is BACK! Cheer in the Lamar Cardinals at Provost Umphrey Stadium this month as they take on the North American University and Abilene Christian University. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the box office the day of each game.

Casey Chesnutt live at Free State – September 4

Local country music artist, Casey Chesnutt will be preforming from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Free State Cellars in Orange, TX. There is no charge - just enjoy the wine, beautiful vineyards, and good music.

Farmer’s Market – September 4, 11, 18 & 25

If you enjoy fresh produce and supporting local farmers and artisans, you need to visit the Beaumont Farmer’s Market. They are open every Saturday, 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. on the Basketball Court at the Athletic Complex on College Street.

Shred Day – September 11

Do you have confidential documents piling up in your house taking up space? Stop by our Rosedale branch for Shred Day to dispose of any documents from 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. This is a contactless event, so load up to four boxes of documents into your trunk or backseat and our employee volunteers will unload them into the Armor Shred truck.

Mexican Heritage Annual Fiesta – September 11

Join the Mexican Heritage Society for their annual Mexican Heritage Festival at the Robert Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids, 11 and under, and for seniors, 65 and up. Tickets can be purchased at the door and the doors open at 9 a.m.

Pour Brothers September Night Market – September 11

Join Pour Brothers from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. for their night market. Market goers can expect good food, cold beer, and local vendors.

Neches River Rally – September 11

Every year the Big Thicket Association hosts Neches River Rally, a 4 mile kayak and canoe event. Participants must pre-register online before the event in order to participate. Registration is $40 for participants, 13 and older and $15 for kids, 12 and under. All paddlers must provide their own boat or rent one. For boat rental, call Big Thicket Outfitters at 409-790-5399 no later than September 3, 2021.

Texas Food Fest – September 12

ATTENTION ALL FOODIES! Over 30 vendors from all over the great state of Texas will be at the Beaumont Civic Center for Texas Food Fest! You can purchase tickets online now for $4; there will be extra costs for food.

Peppa Pig’s Adventure – September 17

Do you live with a Peppa Pig fan? Peppa will be in Beaumont at Ford Park for an exciting camping trip in the woods with George and her school friends, including Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe. This 60- minute, live musical experience begins at 6:00 p.m., doors open at 5:00 p.m. You can purchase tickets online now.

Curse and the Cure live at Free State – September 24

Local music duo, Curse and the Cure will be preforming from 6-8:00 pm at Free State Cellars in Orange, TX. There is no charge, just enjoy the wine, the beautiful vineyards and the music.

Mom’s Night Out- Fall Cookie Decorating - September 24

Are you in need of a MNO (mother’s night out)? The Baker’s Joy in Silsbee, TX has your back! For $50, you will receive a charcuterie dinner, a loaded tea, and enjoy a cookie decorating class during which you will create 8 fall-themed cookies.

Cruise’n Silsbee – September 25

Cruise’n Silsbee is BACK! If you’re a fan of classic cars, trucks, and bikes, this is a good event for you and your family. This annual classic vehicle show is free to enter and will host a sea of food and small business vendors. Education First FCU is a proud Bronze-level sponsor.

Beaumont Cajun Food Trail

Geocaching in Beaumont

Ready for a scavenger hunt? The City of Beaumont offers a Geocaching treasure hunt all across the area. There are 25 hidden caches all over the region that you’ll need to find to complete the puzzle to earn prizes. To learn more about it, visit the Geocaching page on Beaumont CVB’s website.


New to Beaumont, Beaucycles are now offered downtown! Beaucycles are available to rent at three bike locations: the Beaumont Civic Center, Downtown Event Centre, and the Beaumont CVB. Bikes are available for $5 for a 3 hour rental and $1 for every additional hour. The CVB offers a variety of suggested maps to explore or you can follow your heart!
