eBill Pay is the height of convenience. You can take care of all your bill payments and schedule them ahead of time so you don't miss due dates, all without writing a check. Comb through these FAQs to get a feel for everything you can accomplish.

This service is available to members of Education First at no cost.
Yes, you do need to sign up for the service. Log into Online Banking. Go to the Pay Bills folder and click on the Your Bill Pay Setup. You will be prompted to apply for Education First's eBill Pay service.
If a Payee will accept electronic payments, your bills will be paid electronically. However, Payees who cannot accept payments electronically will receive a check through the mail.
Electronic payments will be received by the Payee in 3 days. Payments that are sent by check will take approximately 5 days. Allow 3-5 days from the Processing date for the payment to reach the Payee. Send dates that fall on holidays or weekends will be pulled out the business day before to allow proper arrival.
You can pay any individual or entity, except government agencies, courts or legal entities. (e.g., IRS, county tax assessor offices, collection agencies, court ordered Payees)
Your payments must be deducted from an Education First Checking Account that you designate at the time you register for iPay. You may only have payments deducted from one Checking Account.
The payments are deducted from your Checking Account five business days prior to the due date. It will appear on your statement as an ebill payment, which will list the Payee and the amount deducted.

You can request a copy of a check from Education First by calling (409) 898-3770. If you need additional information about payment to a Payee, you can also call Education First.
Yes, the Bill Pay Reports feature in eBill Pay allows you to view up to three months of past history on your eBill Pay account.
Any person that you allow access to your Home Banking service will have access to your iPay service.
Click on the Pay Bills/Add Payee button, complete the required fields for your Payee and click on "Add Payee" button.
If your Payee's address changes, you can click on Current Payees, then click the edit button and click Next at the bottom of the page. Make any changes to the Payee's address and click Next, then Confirm the changes.
No, it is not necessary to notify your Payees that you will be submitting your payments through iPay.
Yes, select Quick Pay or Pay Bills and enter the amount and date the bill is due. All pending payments can be viewed on the Payments Calendar. The Payee nicknames are displayed on due dates for pending payments.
Yes, simply complete the "Recurring Payments" section on your Payee Information screen. All recurring payments will be marked with a symbol.
A recurring payment will be processed on the business day before the weekend.
Payments are gathered the day before or around midnight and then processed the following morning.
If there is not an account number, enter a description of what the payment is for in the account number fields. For example, XYZ Bank Auto Loan or House Payment.
